Card party to benefit Alzheimer's group
Valley View Healthcare Center is hosting a Community Card Party from 6 to 8 p.m. April 22, at the center, 825 June Street, Fremont. Artur Davis, Ron Sparks trade jabs over gambling
State Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks criticized U.S. Rep. Artur Davis of Birmingham for not saying whether he supports forms of gambling such as slot machines, card games, craps, roulette and sports betting.
